Vision Awards Criteria, Evaluation, Guidelines and Judging Procedures

Each nominee will be evaluated on the quality of work indicated and any supporting materials relative to the criteria. Each answer must be a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 250 words.
A maximum of ten points will be available for each question answered with a potential total of 40 points for all four questions. Additionally, extra points may be awarded for exemplary results in the following areas: financial gain, cost savings, media recognition and overall implementation. Substantiation may be requested at a later time.

All data will be held strictly confidential, although some data will be used in announcing the Vision Award Winners. Judging is based on the criteria listed with each category. Judges reserve the right to withhold awards in any category where the quality of the work does not warrant such recognition. Judges also reserve the right to move an entry to a different category if it is determined that the entry is better suited to a different category. Judges will not participate in judging categories in which their companies or employees may be entered. All decisions of the Judges are final. Information that accompanies each nomination may be verified for accuracy.
Vision Awards are CAI-MN’s way of paying tribute and offering public recognition for work performed by managers. Whether working with a large or small company, on-site or as a portfolio manager, all entries are reviewed and treated with the utmost respect and fairness. The Judges are leading professionals in the industry and independent of the organization. Judges are given “blind” nominee submissions to review. Judges do not know names of the nominees. Selection of winners is based on the accomplishments as provided on the entry form submitted. Judges record their individual selections on ballots that are tallied to determine the award winner(s).
